A life-long resident of Iowa City, Mike Jensen is well-informed of the Johnson County area’s local real estate market. Mike grew up learning the construction of homes from his grandfather and father, local contractors. A graduate in accounting from St. Ambrose University, Mike’s experience, knowledge, and vast network connections in the community provide a great benefit to his clients as they undergo the process of buying and/or selling their home.
Mike joined Lepic-Kroeger, REALTORS® in 2001. During his tenure as a REALTOR® he was awarded; Professional Newcomer of the Year in 2004, Gold Star Awards in 2007 and 2010 and REALTOR® of the Year in 2011. He earned his ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations and Broker Associate license during this time as well. In 2015, Mike was voted BEST OF THE AREA – REALTOR by Iowa City Press Citizen readers.
In 2012, Mike’s wife Fran joined him in his real estate business in order to provide his clients with enhanced services. In 2014, Mike became a partner in Lepic-Kroeger, Realtors and is proud to continue the integrity, honesty, and reputation of a locally owned Iowa City company. “Opening Doors for You and Your Family” fits Mike’s personality well. His welcoming, calm, can-do attitude will put you at ease the minute you talk with him. Mike and his wife Fran have three children. Bobbie (Dan Wegman), Jamie (Mike Venzon) and Paul. Three beautiful grandchildren Brady, Annie and Mollie. Their daughters and son-in-law’s work and live in the Iowa City area. Son Paul lives in Chicago. The bet is on that he will be moving back to Iowa City as well!
